At Yixing Xuan Teahouse (meaning ""happy and relaxing small house"" in Mandarin), our desire is to share knowledge about the traditional art of Chinese tea with our community and spread our love of tea, one person at a time. Today, we have served thousand of customers from our shores and beyond, but really, we feel we are just getting started.

Yixing Xuan Teahouse was founded by Vincent Low in 1989. A former banker, he was an avid coffee drinker when he decided he needed a life change. He went to China and Taiwan to study tea and since then, has never looked back.

Charlene Low (Vincent's daughter), also a former banker, has been his apprentice since the Teahouse's inception. She loves to share the joy and beauty of enjoying and brewing a perfect cup of tea. She hopes to spread the love and excitement of tea culture to the younger generation.
